Rooibos tea is known as the miracle plant of South Africa. The word rooibos translates to “red bush” in English which is the name of the plant that the leaves come from. This is why you may sometimes hear this tea referred to as “red tea.”
When Rooibos leaves are fermented, they are left out to dry in the sun leaving them with a sweet, sun-kissed, honey flavor. This pairs perfectly with the sweet and spicy ingredients we add to this tea such as cinnamon, caramel, and chocolate which gave the teas a rich and smooth overall taste. One important health benefit that this tea is known for is helping relieve seasonal allergies. Say goodbye to the sniffles!
The tea is caffeine free, making it great to sip on throughout the day.
